Camera has been credited to its function of archiving events in order to store in our memory. It isn't merely a machinery that produce photographs, but an apparatus for reconstructing human memory. We might have moments in our lives that we wish they were documented by camera, but they weren't. Those images are meaningful, so the notion of untaken pictures become regrets in our lives. Using camera as a tool to document my notion of “untaken picture”, I intend to recreate scenes that seem like ordinary daily routines but are in fact staged, to provide viewers snapshots of my personal spaces.
